Initial situation and Challenge
With the increasing number of new customers, the data centre operator Maincubes One was faced with the challenge of avoiding manual tasks for the preparation of the numerous billing data. At the same time, customers expressed the desire to always have access to up-to-date data regarding the performance of their own infrastructure.


Solution
Based on the challenges, a hybrid portal solution based on Intrexx was created, which enables a connection to the power supply and to the internet supply via thousands of sensors. Relevant documents (contracts, invoices, etc.) are provided by the operator of the data centre via one of the portals. In addition, via an extranet, performance data for power and Internet usage is made available to customers in near real time based on sensor technology. The data centre’s customers also have the option of granting authorisations for third-party access to the data centre.
